It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, Grandfathe­r, Great Grandfathe­r at his residence in Paradise on Friday May 8th, 2020, just three weeks after the passing of loving wife Beatrice on April 14th. Predecease­d by infant son Noel, May 25, 1955, parents Leo and Catherine Sears, sister Marie Porter, brothers Allister, Virden, and Bennett, mother and fatherin-law Max and Sal Hussey. Left with cherished memories daughters Barbara (Frank Stratton), Doreen (Rick Tobin), Joan (Calvin Tuttle), Brenda (Ronald Lingley) and Bernice (Barry Lingley); sons Barry (Jackie), Stephen (Kathy) and Leo (Tanya); grandchild­ren, whom he adored, John, Christophe­r, Richard, Kathryne, Bryon, Amanda, Nathan, Ashley, Heidi, Mark, Mitchell, Natalie and Leo; great grandchild­ren Serena, Tristan, Javan, Hudson, Kara, Harlin, Jaxon, Rylan, Emma, Hunter, Carter, Arianna, Jaxon, Tyson, Jayden, Brandi and Chloe. Also survived by his brothers Donald (Sheila), Melvin (Jane), Malcolm (Frances); brother-in-law Don Porter; sisters-in-law Janet Sears and Brenda Skanes. Due to COVID-19 will be no visitation or funeral. Funeral burial service will take place on Monday May 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Non-denominati­on Cemetery in Paradise. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross

He never looked for praises. He was never one to boast. He just went on quietly working

for those he loved the most. His dreams were seldom spoken.

His wants were very few. And most of the time his worries

went unspoken too. He’s there a firm foundation Through all our storms of life A sturdy hand to hold unto In times of stress and strife. A true friend we could turn to When times were good or bad.

One of our greatest blessing The man that we called “Dad”! A Dad leaves his mark in the world through the love he gives

his Family.
