HAWKINS Alison Teresa (Johnson)

-

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a beautiful daughter, sister, mom & friend, Alison Teresa (Johnson) Hawkins at the age of 38 on June 27th, 2020. Alison was determined to live life to the fullest and put her heart and soul into everything she did. She loved her boys and her family fiercely and she was always there for anyone in need. Her passion was nursing. Her nursing career began at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital where she had many co-workers that loved her dearly. During her time there, she participated in her first of three humanitarian missions with Team Broken Earth. That mission impacted her deeply and inspired her to switch her career path and work in the HSC emergency department. Her determination, energy, grace, professionalism and her big heart earned her the respect and love of a whole new family of co-workers. Alison was very active and loved participating and competing in the St. John’s Regatta with her crew. Her drive and energy fueled her many passions which included powerlifting, hiking, running & fundraising for many causes. Anyone who met Alison knew her as a generous, caring and compassionate person. She was a positive and loving force in this world who touched many lives. A beautiful soul. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Predeceased by her father Edward (Eddie) Johnson. Leaving to mourn her two beautiful boys Quinn and Liam and their dad Karl, her loving mother Marion Johnson, sisters Heather (Ross) Temple, Sherry (Fabian) Crane, Arlene (Glenn) Carew, Kelly (Gerard) O’brien, Brother Sheldon (Tanya) Johnson, nephews Cody and Tyler Crane, Daniel Reynolds, Riley O’brien and Reid Carew, nieces Danielle and Jordynn Temple, Ashley Reynolds and Morgan O’brien, many aunts, uncles and cousins, Alison’s soul sister Penny Bliznakova, and her co-workers at the HSC who were like family to her and her many friends. A Funeral Service and Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Broken Earth.

Alison will be forever cherished and always in our hearts
