EVANS, Tina {Christina Marie}

Passed away peacefully on May 23, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer Tina {Christina Marie} Evans. Leaving broken hearted are her mother Roseann (Bruce Anstey) and her father Jerry (Joy Stuckless), sister Jill Young, favourite brother-inlaw Justin and her nephews, Sam and Aaron who loved their Aunt Teens. Tina is predeceased by her grandparents, her Aunt Brenda Rossiter, and most recently Uncles John Kennedy, Stan and Don Evans. Also sharing in her loss are many cousins throughout Canada especially Deanne Handrigan who texted a hug every morning. Aunts Doris, Ruby and Marian and Uncles Robert and Ed and Aunt Marg in Newfoundland. Many special friends including Jackie Cullen (Fagan), Jenness Cawthray (Gillard) who loved and supported her through it all, and her coworkers/friends at Team School where she taught for 15 years. Tina was always there to listen when someone needed a shoulder to cry on, or rise to the occasion when help was needed and always with a big smile. Though born in Ontario, she grew up in Newfoundland and never missed an opportunity to get home to “THE ROCK”, and loved to talk about her island. Thinking of others, even in death, she became an organ donor. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 28th 2021 at 10am in St. Ignatius Loyola church.
