FARRELL, Roy Francis

Dec. 24, 1954 – May 15, 2021 It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Roy Farrell, age 66 years, at his favourite place on earth, his cabin in Deer Park. Leaving to treasure his precious memory are his partner, Sharon Stockley, his children, Stephen (Renee), Colin (Angela), Laura (Daniel) and Sharon’s son, Matthew, his 6 adoring grandchildren, and Sheila, mother of his children. Left with a lifetime of wonderful, loving memories are his siblings Mary Elizabeth, Lorraine Miskell (Pete), Kenneth (Meldy) Ladner BC, Geraldine (Gary), Gerard and sister-inlaw Jocelyn. Roy will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews who thought the world of him, along with numerous relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Josephine Farrell (2004/2005) and his brothers, Bill (2017) and Johnny (1950). Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass (by invitation only) will be on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Parish Church, Patrick St. Inurnment will follow at Belvedere Cemetery.no flowers by request. Donations can be made in Roy’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
