BUTLER, Rosa May

October 9, 1932 - June 15, 2021. Passed peacefully away after a wonderful life, Rosa May Butler in her 88th year. Predecease­d by her father and mother, William and Martha Taylor; brothers Ray Taylor (Joane), Gordon Taylor (Shirley), and George Taylor (Ann); sisters Ina Davis (Frank), and Lenora Davis (Bud). Leaving her loving husband Joseph Butler, after more than 67 years of blissful marriage; also her two sons, Gary Butler (Janet), Joe Butler (Helena); granddaugh­ters Jay Butler (Andrew Harvey), and Melissa Butler; grandsons Chad Butler (Heather), Adam Butler (Melissa Kelland); great granddaugh­ters, Keira, Hanna, Rachel, and Taylor; sister Joan Broomfield (David); special nieces Pamela Pike (Abe), Michelle Broomfield (Darin), and nephew Angus Taylor (Judy); plus a large family of nieces and nephews; Sara O’brien, mother of Rachel and Taylor. Rosa was a very caring woman who loved her family unconditio­nally. Always helping others, she was a truly kind and loving woman. In her final hours she spent much of her time knitting caps for newborn babies, that were donated to the Janeway Hospital. Rosa was an inspiratio­n to the entire family, and to all who met her. Thank you from the entire family to all staff at Tiffany Village who provided Rosa with the very best care during her stay. The Butler Family is very grateful to Doreen, Lauren, Rebecca, Miranda, Head Nurse Karen, and Dr. Coleman. All are very special people who kept Rosa comfortabl­e during her time at Tiffany. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, SPCA, the Gathering Place or charity of one’s choice.
