MACROBERTS , Sharon Ann

-

It is with immense sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Sharon, on May 30, 2020 at the age of 65. From her childhood

home on Shea Heights to the place she called home in Hunter River, PEI, Sharon's energy and outgoing personality brought an abundance of fun and friendship that will be remembered always. Sharon worked with Newfoundland Telephone in her early career and later with Canada Post, where she spent more than 30 years, most recently as Post Mistress in Crapaud, PEI. She knew everyone by name and took a genuine interest in them. She was extremely involved in every aspect of her community life. She was a dedicated member of the PC party. She was part of many groups and organizations and led numerous events in her Church. Sharon was always the life of the party. She made everything more fun. She lived life to the fullest.

She was the picture of elegance and class. A trusted friend and confidente; she was the one who would arrive at your door with a hot meal when you were in need. She had the most generous heart and her family was everything to her. She is missed so very much. Sharon is predeceased by her Mother, Clementine (Edward) and Father Gordon, brothers, Everett and David. Sharon will be forever loved and remembered by her children, Lydia Jean (Greg) and Kevin (Katie), grandchildren, Maddy, Max, Hudson, and Aiden. Also leaving with broken hearts, her sisters and brothers, Jean, Elizabeth (Don), Brenda (Leonard), Carol (Dave), Gord (Stella),

Joe, Garry (Leona), and Brian. Special friends, Gordon Toombs and Winnie Glynn. Special cousin, Caroline (Bun) Hepditch. Sisters in law, Jean, Barb, Bernice, and Brenda, as well as 25 nieces and nephews. As per Sharon's wishes, she will be laid to rest with her parents in St. Philip's. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, July 21st, 2021 at 2:00pm at St. Philip's Anglican Church, 20 Coady's Road, St. Philip's. The service will be live streamed on https://www.facebook.com/ st.philipsanglicanchurch Donations in Sharon's memory may be made to St. Philip's Church or by EMT to stphilipsanglicanchurch@nf. aibn.com
