With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Michael John Joseph Kean at his home on Sunday,

October 24, 2021, in the presence of his loving family at the age of

80. Michael is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Elizabeth; younger brother, Richard; his sister, Patricia (Eric); and nephew, Johnny; his mother-in-law, Bridget Shute; brothers-in-law: Jimmy, Leo, and Alex; sisters-in-law: Lorraine, Isabel (Max), Dianne and Esther; and best friend, Billy Sampson. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 61 years, Bridie; his loving children:

Michael (Louise), Tracey (Michael) and Corey (Angela); adored grandchildren: Adam (Jessica), Bradley, Jessica (Andrew), Brianna (Parker), Joshua; Erin, Ethan, Josh; and his 5 greatgrandchildren; sisters: Veronica (Bob) and Bernadette (Randy); sistersin-law: Elsie, Loretta (Art), Doreen, and Irene; brothersin-law: John (Bev) and Rod; A number of nieces and nephews, extended family

and friends. Special thank you to Rosemore Home Care (Paul, Tess and Cleverson) and the Palliative Care Team. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road, on Wednesday, October 27 and Thursday, October 28, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at The Basilica Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Friday, October 28, 2021 at 10:30am, with cremation to follow. Those who wish to attend the Funeral Mass must register with the family. For anyone not able to attend, the funeral will be live-streamed at www.thebasilica.net .
