PIKE, Anna Marie Bernadette

-

May 31, 1959 – October 24, 2021. It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce

the passing of a wonderful woman. Anna was surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living life to the fullest. The simplest of pleasures in life brought great joy to Anna, tending her flower gardens, baking cakes and cookies and spending time with her family and friends is what she cherished the most. Her door was forever open to everyone and she was always happy to have a laugh. Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will surely be missed by all that have been touched by her. Anna is predeceased by her father John (Jack) Pike, Sister Margaret Pike, grandparents Effie and Ralph Pike, and Margaret and John Donnelly. Leaving to mourn, with so many wonderful and fond memories, the man who gave her the world, her loving husband William Brennan, her devoted daughter Laura Lee (Duke) and amazing son in law Stan Brennan, who loved her beyond measure and both of whom took care of her till the very end, loving mother Mary Pike (Donnelly). Step daughter Donna Peddersen (Kris) and step sons William Brennan Jr. and Rod Brennan (Jean), grandchildren Sarah Brennan (Cody Morgan), Tyler Brennan, and Erik Peddersen. Great Grandchildren Faith and Arianna Brennan, Brothers John (Carol Piercey) another angel who devoted her time to help care for Anna,

Gordon (Sandy Knee), Chris (Christine Smith), Brother In Law Ray Joy Jr, Nieces and Nephews Jackie Cross (Jamie), Julie Pike (Matt), Gavin Smith, Great nephews Justin and Hudson Cross. Special friends that taught us the blood don’t make you family, Connie, Steve and grandson Josh Gartland.

Peggy (Leo) Brennan also a large number of brothers/sisters in laws, nieces and nephews on the Brennan side of our family, lifelong friends Mary Lou Donovan, Charlotte Crawford, cousins Bryan and Gloria Noseworthy, also a large circle of family and friends that truly cherished her, all of whom she loved and touched deeply. We love her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love for her

family. Special Thanks to her long time family doctors Linda Ivany, Shelia Mcgrath, he oncologist doctor Neveau, and Dr. Carla Saldina, you went above and beyond for mom. There are no words to say how deeply grateful we are for the nurses and all staff and the H. Bliss

Cancer Center, you all cared for her and treated her like

family. Anna you are with Margie now, six months was far too long for both of you to

be apart, you are now together again, our modern day Thelma and Louis, driving on the open road. We love you and will miss you forever. Visitation to be held from Barrett’s Funeral

Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Thursday from 2-4pm and 79pm. Funeral Mass to be held from Mary Queen of the World Parish on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The service will be live streamed form Barrett’s website for
