It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Hannah Thomey (nee Kennedy) on October 23, 2021 at the age of 97, at The Agnes Pratt Home. Predecease­d by parents, Dagleton and Elizabeth Kennedy; brothers - Michael, William and Patrick Kennedy; husband and father of her children, Ronald White; infant son Michael White; the two men that God sent her way to help her along her journey in life Francis Murphy and John (Jack) Thomey; daughter in law - Martha White; son in law - Cyril (Sal) Hearn; sisters in law - Mary, Margaret

and Flora Kennedy; and others who wait to greet her in

heaven. She leaves to mourn her children - Paul - St. John’s; Mary (Joseph Penney) - St. John’s; William (Marie) Freshwater, P.B.; Edward (Ellen Theresa) - Freshwater, P.B.; Judith (Augustus Melbourne) - Burgeo; Elizabeth - Goulds; Helen (Edward Flynn) - Colinet; Gerard (Jorge Zamora) - Arizona; 13 grandchild­ren and 10 great grandchild­ren; sister in law Betty - Gander, as well as a number of nieces and nephews and their families. We would like to thank all those at Ruby Manor Retirement Home for their care over the past eleven years. We thank you for all the kindness that was shown to Hannah. Mom considered this to be her home. We would also like to thank the Doctors, the nurses and the staff at The Agnes Pratt Home for their kindness and their caring during mom’s short stay there. The family were happy that she was in such capable hands. You are very special people. We thank everyone for their love and support at this difficult time. Due to Covid-19 and travel difficulti­es for many

family members, a private family graveside service will be held. No flowers by request. A celebratio­n of life

will take place at a later date.
