Esther was so very proud of her family, faith and heritage — maintaining a deep connection to her birthplace, Witless Bay. She was a resourceful woman and knew how to live life to the fullest — a great quality for sure. She thrived on many activities — trouting and berry picking were some of her favourites, along with time spent at the cabin playing cards and her love of Bingo. She enjoyed her travels outside the province and had many favourite vacation spots, especially Las Vegas. She was a great storyteller, with an amazing memory and uncanny ability to recall the vivid details from her past. Her sharp wit, funny stories and sayings provided many belly laughs at family gatherings, which were many. As a family, we have been truly blessed. The family would like to thank her dedicated support team, Dr. Steven Major and the wonderful staff at Agnes Pratt for their tender care and concern while making her short stay there comfortable.
