ANDREWS (MURPHY), Eileen Patricia Marie Carmel

-

October 26, 1940 - May 7, 2022. Early on a beautiful May morning, our Mother slipped away peacefully to

be met in Heaven into the open, loving arms of our Dad, who predeceased her in 2005. Eileen

and Don met in St. John's, NL, when she was a teller at the Bank of Montreal. Don walked in for his first day of work and Eileen whispered to the teller next to her "I'd

love a date with him". The rest was a 42-year love story, which involved four children and many transfers in Don's BMO career. They settled in the Moncton area in 1978 and it became "home". Before her illness prevented her doing so, Eileen played bridge for many years and enjoyed coffee with the girls on Monday mornings at Mcdonald's, West Main St. Eileen was a stay-at-home Mom who kept an "immaculate" house for many years.

After their children were grown, Eileen and Don opened a Bass River Chairs franchise in Champlain Place; which also employed three of their kids. In their five years of business, they made friends with many people, who to this day still talk of the "feisty Newfoundlander". Eileen's 81 years were family filled. Her four children have all stayed in the Moncton area. Before her time at Protem she spent the previous 15 years with Neal and his family. Eileen is survived by her children, Patti Renton (Russell); Lori Trites (Craig); Mark Andrews (Sheri); Neal Andrews (Shelley); her grandchildren, Emily (Kevin Jones), Riley, Ryan (Amanda), Maggie, Noah, Hannah, Luke, Declan, Lara, Annika & Jack; great-grandchildren, Caroline and Nora; her brother, Bob (Mary) of Edmonton, AB; brothers-in-law, Robert (Jean) of Calgary, AB; Stephen (Helen), of Toronto, ON; and Art (Connie) of Gagetown, NB; sister-in-law

Martha of St. John's, NL; many nieces and nephews; as well as her close friends, Carol Bland and Helen Grant. Predeceased by her parents, Allan and Carmel Murphy; her loving husband, Don; her sister, Janice Noseworthy, brother Allan Murphy; granddaughter Emily's mother, Wendy Bland. Donations in Eileen's memory gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer's Society, or charity of your choice. Thank you to Protem Memory Care, 2069 Mountain Road, for their care of Mom for the past few weeks. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, NB there will be a memorial service held on Friday May 13th, 2022 at 11:00am, which will be followed by an interment at

Fair Haven Cemetery. An online guestbook may be signed at www.fairhavemem orial.ca.
