Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the age of 91. Predecease­d by

her husband, William James S. Butt, parents William George and Annie Miller, sisters Olive (Elwin) Henderson, Emma (Henry) Verge and Beulah White, brothers Maxwell (Barbara) Miller, Bernard (Alvina) Miller and Lorenzo Miller, brother-in-law Baxter (Zeta) Butt. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories daughter Krystine (James) French and son Steven (Goldie) Butt, two precious grandchild­ren Gregory (Lynn) French and Katheryne French, the light of her life her two greatgrand­children Rosalie and Daniel French, brother-inlaw Frank White, many nieces and nephews along with numerous other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge

for their care and support especially during this past week. The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral

Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, May 17, and Wednesday, May 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Wesley

United Church, 101 Patrick Street, on Thursday, May 19 at 2 p.m. The service will be livestream­ed for those unable to attend in person with the link available on Nellie’s obituary page at www. carnells.com. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
