February 20, 1939 - March 9, 2024. Today we mark the passing of a kind and gentle man. Fredrick Gregory Locke died peacefully in his sleep on March 9th and has gone to be with the ancestors. Born in the village of Lockston, Trinity Bay, NL, to Mary Ann and Arthur Locke. He loved fishing, long-distance driving, being out on the ocean, a good beach and the quiet life. Leaving to mourn spouse Anne, son Greg (Susan) and grandchild­ren Morgan and Erinn. We are grateful for the sympathies and condolence­s of family, friends and colleagues far and wide. Also mourning are nieces Janet Karika (Pfieffer), Kelly and Susan Drodge; nephews Robert and Bruce Downer, Ruby, Gloria, Patricia, Freeman, Calvin and Ernst Fowlow; sisters-in-law Letsie Norman and Dianne Ploughman; cousins in the Ballad, Randall and Locke families Predecease­d by his mother Mary Ann and father Arthur William, sisters Jane Pfieffer (Dewey), Joan Drodge (Eldon), Gloria Downer (Raymond), Leah Fowlow (Bob) and brother William Locke. Thank you to Dr. Randy Hart, Dr. Brianne Quinton and the nurses and staff at the Caribou Veterans Pavilion for your love and care. There are no funeral arrangemen­ts or services planned at this time.
