Plenty of research shows how living in a clean, wellorganized home contributes to physical and mental wellbeing. However, not everyone has the time or the ability to keep their home at the desired level of cleanliness. That’s where MaidPro of Annapolis Valley can be of service.

With locations in Greenwood and New Minas, MaidPro Annapolis Valley serves the entire region.

“My passion is helping people,” said Tanya Hazelwood, owner of MaidPro of Annapolis Valley. “Providing this service allows our clients to have a work-life balance.”

Tanya and Matt Hazelwood launched their cleaning company in 2011 to provide

"world-class cleaning services" to residents across the Annapolis Valley region, while also providing important employment opportunities.

Whether a client wants weekly, biweekly, monthly or a one-time cleaning, MaidPro can set up a schedule to suit their needs. Their home will be cleaned to the highest expectations by trained professionals at surprisingly affordable rates.

MaidPro also offers top-ofthe-line commercial cleaning services across the Valley.

MaidPro believes in safe and effective green cleaning products. The company carries out extensive research, testing and analysis to select the most environmentally friendly products.

“All of the cleaning products we use are safe, effective and pet-friendly,” Hazelwood said.

She said the culture and professionalism of MaidPro, and their focus on taking care of clients, has been a great asset to their business.

“They’ve provided the resources and support that helped us grow to where we are now.”

Offering the personalized service of an independent cleaner, and with the professionalism and protection of a large organization, MaidPro provides the best of both worlds.

All MaidPro cleaning professionals are trained on how to deliver a thorough and spotless clean, and each new trainee works with a seasoned trainer until they have mastered the MaidPro clean.

The company offers a 49point checklist, with special attention paid to the bathroom, kitchen, floors and dusting. It’s MaidPro’s signature service that ensures the entire home is cleaned from top to bottom.

“We will build a cleaning plan tailored to the client’s need and their budget,” Hazelwood said.

The checklist covers every detail, from removing fingerprints from door frames and switch plates to ensuring that tub and shower tiles are thoroughly scrubbed, disinfected and rinsed.

Clients receive a reminder before the clean, and then a followup afterward, to ensure that the cleaning exceeded expectations.

“We always want to know how we can do better, and how we can customize the cleans to meet the client’s needs.”

Matt and Tanya Hazelwood enjoy spending time with their kids and can be found at hockey tournaments and grabbing an ice cream at Jonny’s Cookhouse in Berwick. Appreciating the value of family time, Hazelwood’s goal is to help clients spend more time having fun and less time cleaning.

“Knowing that I went into a house and cleaned it to the MaidPro standard gives me a great deal of satisfaction.”
