Mobile primary care clinic coming to Middleton
Nova Scotia Health’s mobile primary care clinic is heading to the Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton.
The drop-in clinics are available on April 16 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The clinic is a temporary service to give residents a primary care setting for people with mild or moderate health concerns. Nova Scotia Health said the health clinic is not a substitute for a primary care provider.
Clinics will address prescription refills or renewals, minor respiratory symptoms, sore throat, earaches, fever, headache, rashes, minor gastrointestinal concerns, cough, flu or cold symptoms, urinary tract infections and muscle pain.
Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911, and those seeking general health advice and information should call 811.
More information about the clinics can be found online at www.nshealth.ca/mobileprimarycare.
