"Bad­deck Crew" step their way into win­ner's cir­cle

Stu­dents from Sarah's School of Mu­sic, in Bad­deck, re­cently com­peted at the first Is­land Step Dance Com­pe­ti­tion in Char­lot­te­town, Prince Ed­ward Is­land on Satur­day, June 23, 2018. "The Bad­deck Crew", which was a group dance fea­tur­ing all nine dancers won sil­ver in their cat­e­gory. In the "10 Years" cat­e­gory Elsie Lat­waitis re­ceived gold, David Ross re­ceived sil­ver and Han­nah Phillips re­ceived bronze. In " Duo/trio 10 years" Elsie Lat­waitis and David Ross re­ceived gold for their duo per­for­mance. Elsie and David also took home the top award for "Top Duo/trio Per­for­mance" of the com­pe­ti­tion. The first Is­land Step Dance Com­pe­ti­tion fea­tured over 80 dancers rang­ing from ages 8-22.
