Ok­i­nawan-style karate re­turns to Bad­deck Oct. 10

The Bad­deck chap­ter of the Cape Bre­ton High­lands Karate Club will re­sume on Oct. 10 – a slightly later start than last year – to ac­com­mo­date The­atre Bad­deck per­for­mances. The Ok­i­nawan-style karate school will run ev­ery Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber through May, be­gin­ning at 5:30pm at the Ma­sonic Hall. Like last year, Sen­sei Leo Dono­van will make the 3-hour round trip jour­ney from North of Smokey each Wed­nes­day to teach the class.
