Multi-sector collaborat­ions to experiment with new approaches and solutions to urban challenges. Among them, Future Cities Canada is developing a standardiz­ed urban data strategy and framework that will enable cities to identify issues, explore innovative ideas, and create prototype solutions.

HUBS

Creation of city-based centres to improve capacity for inclusive innovation. Future Cities Canada will have two brick-and-mortar hubs that function as innovation and training centres: in Toronto, at the redevelope­d Kiln at Evergreen Brick Works; and in Montreal, at Ville D’avenir.

LEARNING NETWORK

A platform for knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning, and dialogue, and a means to disseminat­e best practices in recognitio­n of progress made in city building around the globe.
