Turning ideas into actions
LABS
Multi-sector collaborations to experiment with new approaches and solutions to urban challenges. Among them, Future Cities Canada is developing a standardized urban data strategy and framework that will enable cities to identify issues, explore innovative ideas, and create prototype solutions.
HUBS
Creation of city-based centres to improve capacity for inclusive innovation. Future Cities Canada will have two brick-and-mortar hubs that function as innovation and training centres: in Toronto, at the redeveloped Kiln at Evergreen Brick Works; and in Montreal, at Ville D’avenir.
LEARNING NETWORK
A platform for knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning, and dialogue, and a means to disseminate best practices in recognition of progress made in city building around the globe.
We can’t do this alone. Learn how we can create cities we want and need — together. FUTURECITIESCANADA.CA
