Well versed

The Walrus - - FRONT PAGE -

I immensely enjoyed Richard Greene’s poem (“Cannibal Rats,” November) for two reasons. First, I actually understood what he was writing about, because the Lyubov Orlova —the abandoned cruise ship that was drifting across the North Atlantic, allegedly filled with rats—was once moored not far from my doorstep in Newfoundland. And second, the author had the audacity to use rhyme.
