Two Indians Allegedly Involved In Attempted Murder, Kidnapping

YORK: Investigat­ors with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigat­ions Bureau have identified the two suspects wanted in connection with the attack against victim Elnaz Hajtamiri that occurred in the City of Richmond Hill.

Wanted: Harshdeep Binner, 23, of Brampton, Charged: Riyasat Singh, 23, of Brampton, who has been arrested.

A Canada- wide arrest warrant has been issued for Harshdeep pects while the other has been taken into custody, police said.

On December 20, 2021, officers responded to an address on King William Crescent, which is in the area of Yonge Street and Bantry Avenue, for a call that a based and activities associated with Canadian main stream. Makaju also appealed all to continue their valuable support to scale Guthi's height further. Guthi's Cultural Secretary Surendra Lal female victim was attacked and struck with a frying pan in an undergroun­d parking garage. The incident was interrupte­d by a concerned citizen and the suspects fled in a vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital with non-lifethreat­ening injuries. Through the investigat­ion, officers determined that the suspect vehicle had been stolen from the area of Finch Avenue and Don Mills Road in Toronto. The vehicle was recovered.

On April 13, 2022, a warrant was executed at a residence in the City of Brampton and one of the suspects was arrested.

Investigat­ors are asking anyone with informatio­n on the wanted suspect or any informatio­n on the investigat­ion to come forward.

In the cultural segment of the program, executive member Ranjana Sainju and Dr. Amar Sainju renditione­d "Basanta dhoon" instrument­al on Sitar, where as Preeti Koju, Krishna Maharjan, Karisha Maharjan and Rajendra Maharjan performed various kinds of Newah ethnic dances.

Similarly, other artists entertaine­d the guests by singing songs. One of the attraction­s of the program was that most of the children along with their parents showed up with Newah ethnic attire.
