Indo-Canadian Fugitive Dharam Singh Dhaliwal Added to Canada's Most Wanted List for Alleged Murder

-

Dharam Singh Dhaliwal, an IndoCanadian fugitive, has been placed on Canadaís 25 Most Wanted list for his alleged involvement in the murder of 21-year-old Pawanpreet Kaur in December 2022. The announcement came as part of the Be On The Lookout (BOLO) program, offering a reward of up to 50,000 Canadian dollars for information leading to Dhaliwalís arrest.

The victim, a resident of Brampton in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), was fatally shot multiple times at the Petro-Canada gas station where she worked. Dhaliwal, against whom a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued in April last year, is described as armed and dangerous, standing at 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with a tattoo on his left hand. Peel Regional Police (PRP) Chief Nishan Duraiappah emphasized the impact of Kaurís murder on her family and the community, urging the public to assist in locating Dhaliwal for justice to be served. The BOLO listing revealed disturbing details, stating that Dhaliwal had previously been charged with domestic-related offenses against Kaur and had staged his own suicide before her murder to evade law enforcement.

While Dhaliwal remains at large, two of his family members were arrested in April last year in Moncton, New Brunswick, and charged with Accessory to Murder After the Fact. Authorities stressed that anyone aiding Dhaliwal in evading arrest would face similar charges.

Notably, gangster Satinderjeet Singh, alias Goldy Brar, who was listed last year in connection with the murder of entertainer and politician Sidhu Moose Wala, does not appear in the latest update but remains wanted by authorities
