Taylor Chiropractic Offices, located in Welland, is headed by Dr. Scott Taylor. Dr. Taylor specializes in providing proven, safe and effective non-surgical options to patients who are experiencing serious, chronic back and neck pain. Dr. Taylor uses Spinal Decompression technology for back pain due to herniated/ bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatic leg pain, facet syndrome, and more. In the past, a patient suffering from disc problems would exhaust options, including several medications and physical therapy, and when they were not progressing, they were sent for spinal surgery. Chiropractic care proved extremely helpful in many cases, yet there have been some cases when surgery seemed to be the only other option .... until now. Since its release, clinical studies have shown a good success rate in treating lumbar and cervical disc-related problems. Spinal Decompression Therapy provides relief to severe back and neck pain sufferers by gently reducing the pressure within spinal discs and providing the patient with gentle and painless decompression of the
injured discs. The process takes place over a series of treatments. The bones of the spine are slowly and methodically separated until a vacuum is formed. This vacuum “pulls” the gelatinous centre of the disc back inside, thereby reducing the disc bulge or disc herniation. Significant disc bulge reduction removes pressure off the spinal nerves and drastically reduces pain and disability. This vacuum also pulls much-needed oxygen, nutrients, and fluid into injured and degenerated discs allowing the healing to begin. Dr. Taylor also uses light force instrument adjusting which is very effective and accurate. I was diagnosed in 2013 with Degenerative Disc Disease in my neck. I suffered with acute pain in my neck across the shoulder blades and down into my bi-ceps. I could not turn my head either way because of the pain. I had to turn my torso whichever way I wanted to look. I was told there was no way to reverse this problem. My family doctor recommended physiotherapy. After 10 sessions, my symptoms remained the same. I then noticed an ad in the paper regarding Spinal Decompression Therapy at Dr. Scott Taylor’s clinic. The ad mentioned treatment for Degenerative Disc Disease. I arranged an appointment for consultation and was very excited that there was hope for my condition.I went on a 20 session program over 10 weeks. The mobility in my neck is almost back to normal. I can almost turn my neck 90 degrees both ways with no pain or limitations. I can exercise, play golf, and do all chores with no after effects.I am now on a bi-weekly maintenance program, which takes about 5 minutes, and Dr. Taylor adjusts and activates my neck and spine area to keep everything loose and flexible.Dr. Taylor, and his ever friendly receptionist Lena, run a very professional and efficient operation. They make you feel comfortable from the first moment you walk into their facility. I thank them both very much for what they have done to help me going forward. I highly recommend Spinal Decompression Therapy for anyone suffering with Degenerative Disc Disease.Sincerely Don Forrest
I have received Chiropractic Care from various Chiropractors over several decades due to the ongoing results of whiplash from a motor vehicle accident in my early twenties. When I moved to Welland, I visited Dr Taylor and learned about Decompression Therapy. This was a new concept for me and I decided to try it as I had been in real discomfort and my energy was drained due to pain. Dr. Taylor told me how he could help me and I noticed a positive difference which began with my first visit. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Scott Taylor for his professionalism, knowledge and skills, and the very positive impact he has had on my life.Sincerely D. Wilde
