Matthew Granville’s parents wish to thank:

-

The many relatives, friends and acquaintances that came to Matt’s visitation on August 23 2018. So many people. The funeral service at St John’s Anglican Church was not a sad occasion. Thanks to Lea, Derek and Cherrie. Lea and Derek gave us humorous events in our Son’s life. Many we heard for the first time!! Cherrie talked of a more caring and loving Matt. One who was looking forward to being with our God. Cherrie also read remembrances from relatives.

The Venerable Val Kerr delivered the final service for Matt to a full Church. A service that came from the Anglican Common Book of Prayer at Matthew’s request. Val Clarke played the music for the hymns Matt enjoyed. Thank you to our Minister, Rev. Diane Walker, for sitting with us. We, also, thank Dr. Fiona Halliday for coming to our home and pronouncing Matthew when she was not on call. One more important ‘thank you’ goes to the Giancola Insurance Agency /CoOperators Insurance for closing their offices to allow staff to attend the service. Matthew was looking forward to going back to work and his own office! The luncheon Hetherington and Deans Funeral Home provided was wonderful. Matt’s wish to send children to summer camps will come true for many summers thanks to your generosity. This has been a lengthy article. It is the last time we would like to speak of Matthew’s funeral service but not of our Son We know he is better off with the Lord. He is now breathing freely, but we miss him so much.

Until We Meet Again Son!

Lots of love

Mom (Wrinkles) and

Dad (the old people)
