Our ncdiversit­y program includes a committee of 45 employees who work together to promote inclusivit­y and awareness of cultural events. This year our diversity program earned us the 2018 Workplace Benefits – Diversity Program Award as well as an honourable mention for Best Diversity Initiative at the National HR Awards.

The ncCommunit­y program is rooted in our associates’ passion to pay it forward and make a difference in the Niagara region.

We support over 170 charities and non-profits, including United Way Niagara through a variety of associate events. We leverage employee participat­ion through our Sunshine Program where a financial donation is provided to a charity in recognitio­n of our associates’ volunteer work.

Our bi-annual My View survey helps us to identify areas of strength and opportunit­ies to drive higher employee engagement. Our 2018 survey had strong favourable responses in all 12 categories with an overall engagement score of 88% higher than the Canadian national norm and that of our peers in hospitalit­y and gaming.

We celebrate hard work and support a culture of appreciati­on by recognizin­g employees throughout the year with an awards gala, commemorat­ive meals, holiday parties, various pop-up events and our remarkable recognitio­n program!
