LABBÉ, Louis A.

We, the family of Louis A. Labbé, announce his passing on May 14, 2022 at the Welland Hospital at the age of 87. He was predeased by his loving wife Jeannine (Légaré) Labbé. Cherished father of Diane (Rosaire), Lise, and Louis II (Nancy), late Léo, late Joseph, late André and late Jeanne. Dad will be sadly missed by his six grandchildren Salvatore, Anna, Shawn, Ronald, Kia and Louis III and six great-grandchildren, Courtney, William, Melyna, Haylee, Benjamin and Rose. Dear brother of Louisette (Maurice Godbout) (late Gabriel), late Roger (late Huguette), late Ghislaine (late Jean-Claude), Marie-Blanche (Roland), Marcel (Gisele), JeanClaude (Monique), Émile (Yollande) (late Francine), Denis (Suzanne), Denise (Jacques), Monique (Adrien) and Gabriel (Marianne). Predeceased by his parents Adélard and Marie-Ange (nee Fortier). He will also be missed by his in-laws, Yvette (late Léandre) and Réal (Dianne). Dad was a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus, holding many positions over the years. He enjoyed family vacations and spending winters in Florida with mom and their many friends. He volunteered at Les Mongolflières in Québec. He owned Niagara Roofers for many years and loved having family meals.

The family will have a visitation and service at a later date at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. The time and date will be announced at a later date.
