Founder of Reno’s Louis’ Basque Cor­ner restau­rant dies

RENO, Nev. - The founder of a pop­u­lar Basque restau­rant that opened in down­town Reno 50 years ago has died. Louis Er­rigu­ible opened Louis’ Basque Cor­ner a few blocks east of the down­town casino dis­trict in 1967. KRNV-TV re­ports he died Sun­day at Saint Mary’s Hos­pi­tal in Reno at the age of 90. His daugh­ter, Margi, says Er­rigu­ible was born in France on Aug. 25, 1926, and moved to Reno in 1948.
