Frank Hum­ber pitched a three­hit­ter on Sun­day as the Veitch’s Ul­tra­mar Hawks nailed down a 10-0 five-in­ning, mercy-rule win over the West Side Monar­chs at Ju­bilee Field.

Hum­ber struck out one and walked one in the Cor­ner Brook Mol­son Se­nior Base­ball League win.

Kevin Far­rell took the loss in 3.2 in­nings of work, sur­ren­der­ing 10 runs (seven earned) on 14 hits, with two strike­outs. Noah Brif­fett tossed 1.1 in­nings, al­low­ing a hit and giv­ing up a walk.

Perry Alexan­der had a big day with the bat, col­lect­ing two RBIs and two runs scored in a 2-for-4 ef­fort. Dar­ren Col­bourne went a per­fect 4-for-4 at the plate, scor­ing two runs and driv­ing in an­other.
