City now has guide to pub­lic, pri­vate land ready for res­i­den­tial and com­mer­cial de­vel­op­ment

The City of Cor­ner Brook has pro­duced a book­let high­light­ing some city-owned and pri­vate parcels of va­cant land avail­able for po­ten­tial de­vel­op­ment.

The pam­phlet con­tains in­for­ma­tion such as the cur­rent zon­ing of the area and the es­ti­mated size of the land, along with a satel­lite im­age of the lo­ca­tion.

The ar­eas in­clude a mix of land that can be used for res­i­den­tial and com­mer­cial de­vel­op­ments.

The pam­phlet may be ac­cessed on­line via the city’s web­site at www.cor­ner­brook.com and printed copies may be ob­tained at city hall.

This plot of land avail­able for de­vel­op­ment on Reid Street, once the lo­ca­tion of a gas sta­tion and con­ve­nience store, is now owned by the City of Cor­ner Brook and is in an area zoned for gen­eral com­mer­cial and res­i­den­tial medium den­sity.
