Tak­ing care of down­town

STEPHENVIL­LE, N.L. — Two stu­dents have been hired by the Stephenvil­le Down­town Busi­ness Im­prove­ment As­so­ci­a­tion to keep the down­town area clean and beau­tify it where they can dur­ing the sum­mer months.

Ri­ley White and Sa­man­tha Hann were out hang­ing bas­kets of flow­ers last week and pick­ing de­bris along the streets.

Their job dur­ing the sum­mer also en­tails help­ing with ac­tiv­i­ties and events in the town when they are needed.
