Traffic stop results in drug charge for Mount Moriah man
CORNER BROOK, N.L. — A Mount Moriah man faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance after police saw what is believed to be cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary stopped the vehicle on Main Street in Corner Brook at about 3:30 a.m.
An undisclosed amount of the drug and other drug paraphernalia was seized by police.
The 47-year-old man was released to appear in court in December.
