Two men ar­rested for break-in at Paddy’s Pub in Stephenvil­le

STEPHENVIL­LE, N.L. — Two men have been ar­rested in re­la­tion to a break-in and theft from Paddy’s Pub on Main Street in Stephenvil­le last month. Dou­glas Tourout, 56, of Pic­cadilly, and Clorice Hoskins, 42, from Stephenvil­le, have been charged with break and en­ter and theft over $5,000. The al­leged crime was first re­ported to the Bay St. George RCMP Aug. 17. An undis­closed amount of cash was stolen. Po­lice ar­rested Tourout and Hoskins last Wed­nes­day as a re­sult of an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into the in­ci­dent.

The two men have been re­leased from cus­tody and are set to ap­pear at pro­vin­cial court in Stephenvil­le later.
