LARK HARBOUR — The Town of Lark Harbour will hold nominations Nov. 12 and 13 to fill the town council seat left vacant by the resignation of Ria MacDonald. MacDonald, who had been the town’s mayor, left the position for personal reasons, and told The Western Star that she didn’t want to do a disservice to the town by not being able to fully commit to the job.

Jeff Parker has stepped up as the new mayor and a deputy mayor will be chosen from the other councillors after a byelection, if needed, is held.
