ST. JOHN’S — The 2018 Ge­orge Street Fes­ti­val lineup was an­nounced Thursday evening and will fea­ture Our Lady Peace, Trooper, Sons of Erin, Fin­ger Eleven, Clas­si­fied, Arkells, Shan­neyganock, I Mother Earth, and Kar­di­nal Off­ishall.

Pre­vi­ously an­nounced was the Canada Day con­cert, which will fea­ture July Talk. The fes­ti­val starts in St. John’s on July 26, with con­certs ev­ery night un­til Aug. 1. The Sons of Erin per­for­mance is dubbed ‘a his­toric re­union’ and the fes­ti­val will also in­clude the Saturday night Kitchen Party with Ir­ish-New found land mu­sic and the “World’s Largest Screech-In Cer­e­mony”.

Ad­vance tick­ets go on sale to­day at noon.

Tick­ets are avail­able on­line at and at, as well as at North At­lantic Orange­store lo­ca­tions prov­ince-wide. The fes­ti­val is open to peo­ple of le­gal drink­ing age.
