8:00 AM | Perth County OPP are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a theft of fuel which oc­curred dur­ing the early morn­ing hours. The sus­pect(s) en­tered the busi­ness ad­dress on Perth Road 136 in the Town­ship of Perth East, caus­ing dam­age to a fuel tank on the prop­erty. Ap­prox­i­mately $1,000 worth of fuel, a pump and noz­zle were re­moved be­fore de­part­ing the area. Po­lice re­mind all busi­ness and res­i­den­tial fuel tank own­ers to en­sure that fuel tanks are locked and turned off nightly to pre­vent thefts. The in­ci­dent re­mains un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion and any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to re­port it im­me­di­ately to po­lice at 1-888-310-1122. 4:00 PM | Water­loo Re­gional Po­lice ar­rested a 28-year-old Kitch­ener man in con­nec­tion to re­ports of break-ins to two car deal­er­ships be­tween Septem­ber 6 and 18. A King Street, Wool­wich lo­ca­tion was in­volved. More than 30 ve­hi­cle keys and a to­tal of four ve­hi­cles were stolen. As part of the in­ves­ti­ga­tion, stolen ve­hi­cles, keys and other sus­pected stolen prop­erty were seized.
