11:36 PM | Water­loo Re­gional Po­lice re­sponded to a col­li­sion in­volv­ing a horse-drawn buggy and a pickup truck on Sandy Hills Drive in Wool­wich Town­ship. The buggy was trav­el­ling south on Arthur Street and at­tempt­ing a left turn onto Sandy Hills Drive when it was struck by a pickup truck trav­el­ling south. Three pas­sen­gers of the buggy were taken to hos­pi­tal. Two pas­sen­gers suf­fered mi­nor in­juries, and a third pas­sen­ger suf­fered se­ri­ous, but non-life-threat­en­ing in­juries. The horse also suf­fered mi­nor in­juries. The pickup truck was be­ing driven by a 19-year-old Elmira man, who did not suf­fer any in­juries.
