At a CPAC meeting May 3, Crompton officials outlined a new plan that they believe may accelerate the cleanup of contaminants coming off company boundaries. However, to accomplish this, the company has to effectively allow some chemical runoff to flow offsite, a move requiring relaxation of an MOE control order placed on the property.
