Arrest made in gas station heist

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a knifepoint robbery last week at the Douglas Street/Hillside Avenue Petro-Canada gas station. Victoria police said a man entered the station about 7 a.m. on May 26 and demanded cash. A knife was seen. It was first believed an accomplice helped the suspect escape, but police have since determined he acted alone. Philip Wayne Terris has had his parole revoked and remains in custody.
