Leave the legislature murals alone
The coverup of the murals in the legislature is abuse.
These paintings are artistic depictions of a past, more mythical than historically correct.
Art isn’t supposed to be politically or historically correct, except under a Fascist or Communist regime (and look at the dismal stuff that has come from that).
I always found the paintings esthetically pleasing, the female figures graceful, as in much Hawaiian art. Leave them alone. We seem to be in an era of much coverup in more than one sense. Jean Creese Victoria
