Divider would cut Malahat head-on crashes


Another head-on collision on the Malahat, demonstrat­ing again that double yellow lines are not as effective as a concrete divider. The entire Malahat should have concrete dividers to prevent head-on collisions. People tend to drive more cautiously when alongside a divider. The savings, in lives and insurance payouts, will quickly cover the cost of dividers.
