Reduce the total number of MPS
The United States’ population is 305 million. The Canadian population is 34 million. Nine to one. The number in the U.S. congress is 435. The proposed increase will give Canada 338 MPS.
I’m all for balancing the representation by province, but in doing so we must dramatically reduce our total number of MPS. More of them at the trough will not improve our lot. Why is there no debate? Why do we put up with such nonsense? Chris Dubetz Victoria
