Clark and Bond to host reception for heroes of Richmond air crash
Premier Christy Clark and Solicitor General Shirley Bond are to hold a reception at the legislature for those who rescued the passengers and pilots of Thunderbird Air Flight 204 after it crashed in Richmond last Thursday.
The aircraft, with seven passengers, crashed on Russ Baker Way. Pilot Luc Fortin died and co- pilot Matt Robic suffered burns to 80 per cent of his body. All seven passengers on board, who were mostly executives of Vancouver companies, suffered injuries. Sev- eral remain in hospital. Lions International wants to award its Medal of Merit to all those who pulled passengers from the wreckage.
