The Maritime Museum of B.C. represents a rich link to the province’s nautical heritage, promoting and preserving our maritime experience through the artifacts it cares for and through the popular educational programs it delivers. The Museum Society is currently seeking a treasurer with financial experience or accounting background to provide financial oversight. The Society is debt free and has competent bookkeepers, so this is a management role. The time requirement is roughly one hour per week, plus a two-hour board meeting once a month. Involvement could be combination of working from home and faceto-face meetings with bookkeepers and trustees.
