Ban is obviously not discriminatory
Re: “Trump has good reason for immigration restriction,” letter, Feb. 4. Why is it that people from Indonesia, the nation with the world’s largest Muslim population, and other predominantly Muslim countries such as Egypt and Pakistan, are not excluded from entering the United States? This seems to be inconsistent with a policy of bias against one religion. The press makes no mention of this.
I think any fair-minded individual can see the real rationale behind the ban on the seven countries affected.
The real problem here is the hysteria and perceived bias that is being fomented by the predominantly left-wing media that refuse to accept Donald Trump’s presidency.
If one is to put credence in the latest polls, the credibility of the press is at an all-time low. Ernest C. Knowles Victoria
