Pierre’s actions were typically contemptuous

Re: “Pierre had good reason to give the finger,” letter, Feb. 5. Pierre Elliott Trudeau giving the “finger” during his trip west was just his typical contemptuous behaviour.

Trudeau had little respect for authority or institutions, as was aptly exhibited during the signing of the constitution, when he pirouetted behind and out of sight of the Queen.

Trudeau’s actions were disrespectful and so typical of a man whose leadership Canada would have been better off never seeing. Bill Wilson Saanichton
