Guns found in Oak Bay yard

An Oak Bay homeowner doing yard work has unearthed a pair of handguns. The guns, found in a Cadboro Bay Road yard, were old and in poor shape, Oak Bay police said. A serial number on one revealed that it was stolen from a Langford residence on Happy Valley Road in 1988, and the other one is believed to be linked. Police have not determined if the guns are connected to other offences.
