We already have a study of commuter rail

-

Re: “Still waiting for action on transit,” editorial, March 10.

The B.C. Ministry of Transportation did an excellent study a few years ago of what it would cost to initiate a functional commuter service on the E&N right of way from West Hills to downtown.

The folks in the photo op might profitably read that study first and try to imagine how you get a service of any use for $10 million.

Rather than launch another talkfest, it would be better to study the old study, which has some hard data that can be used for a reality check before the next photo op.
