“We have friends at Ronald McDonald House that will be like family members forever,” says mom Jasmine about her stay at Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon (RMH BC). The four-and-a-half months that her family spent in Vancouver were full of fear and uncertainty – but also the incredible support of a community.

Just two hours after he was born, Jasmine’s son Caleb was airlifted to Vancouver for lifesaving medical treatment. Over the next 112 days, Caleb fought to survive, and Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon (RMH BC) became a home away from home for his mom, dad, and two-year-old brother Jordan. The House provided a place to stay close to the hospital, space for Jordan to play and a warm and understanding community. • RMH BC provides accommodation and support for up to 2,000 families like Caleb’s each year. One third of the families served come from Vancouver Island. Families can stay for weeks, months or years while their child receives life-saving treatment. Leaving a legacy gift is a meaningful way to ensure ongoing support for the children and families who depend on RMH BC. We can help you and your financial advisor find the best option to suit your needs, address any concerns you might have, and work with you to ensure your donation has lasting impact.

By leaving a legacy for Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon, you give strength and hope to Vancouver Island families with seriously ill children, and keep them together when it matters most.
