Pitt Mead­ows bus stop rated North Amer­ica’s worst

Maybe if you worked at the land­scap­ing com­pany across the high­way or the beef farm down the road you’d use this bus stop, voted the “sor­ri­est” of its kind in North Amer­ica.

Oth­er­wise, you’d need to be dropped off by cab just to get to the Tran­sLink stop on the Lougheed High­way at Old Dewd­ney Trunk Road in Pitt Mead­ows.

Read­ers of Streets­blog USA voted 58 per cent to 42 per cent, in an NCAA bracket-style vote-off, to hand the Pitt Mead­ows stop the dis­hon­our of be­ing sor­rier than the worst stop in the U.S. in Cincin­nati. The Tran­sLink stop waltzed through early-round vot­ing, beat­ing Bev­erly Hills with 77 per cent of the vote, San Rafael, Cal­i­for­nia, with 90 per cent, and Pitts­burgh with 59 per cent.
