B.C. Ferries’ Victoria-Vancouver traffic expected to be heavy through Tuesday
Motorists on B.C. Ferries’ VictoriaVancouver route faced two- and threesailing waits on Friday with people on the move for the Remembrance Day long weekend.
Travellers between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen in both directions faced a three-sailing wait Friday afternoon, which was reduced to a two-sailing wait by 6:30 p.m.
B.C. Ferries warned travellers that longweekend travel is expected to be heavy through Tuesday.
Ferry traffic is forecast to be “busy” today out of Tsawwassen from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. out of Swartz Bay.
Remembrance Day Sunday is forecast to be “busy” on sailings between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Swartz Bay.
On Monday, ferry traffic is projected to be “very busy” from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. out of Tsawwassen and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. out of Swartz Bay.
Ferries are expected to be “busy” on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. out of Tsawwassen and between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. out of Swartz Bay.
