Cana­dian moguls star Kings­bury golden again

CAL­GARY — Canada’s Mikael Kings­bury con­tin­ued his dom­i­nance of men’s moguls with a World Cup vic­tory Satur­day in Cal­gary.

The reign­ing Olympic men’s cham­pion from Deux-Mon­tagnes, Que., has won three of three gold in World Cup moguls this sea­son as well as a dual moguls race.

The 26-year-old posted a score of 84.17 points in the six-man super fi­nal for his 53rd ca­reer World Cup win.

Wal­ter Wall­berg of Swe­den scored 80.98 for sil­ver. Daichi Hara of Ja­pan took bronze with 78.14.

In women’s moguls, Yu­lia Galy­sheva of Kaza­khstan claimed gold with 79.10 points, Per­rine Laf­font of France was the sil­ver medal­list with 77.96 points and Jaelin Kauf of the U.S. earned bronze with 76.10.

Mon­treal’s Jus­tine Du­four-La­pi­onte placed fifth.
